Militant Opposition Network Urges Mass Defiance Against Ardentian Government

ARDENTIA CITY — A radical political network in the fictional Republic of Ardentia has released a series of statements calling for the removal of the country’s government and encouraging supporters to reject the authority of state institutions.

The organization, known as the Free Ardentia Movement, accused the administration of widespread corruption, political repression and systematic censorship.

In a statement circulated online, the group declared that the existing government had “lost all legitimacy” and said citizens had a duty to resist state authority.

“The current regime must be brought down,” the statement said. “People should no longer obey institutions that exist only to protect the ruling elite.”

The organization called on public-sector employees to stop cooperating with government agencies and urged workers across the country to participate in coordinated strikes and shutdowns.

It also encouraged university students and political activists to occupy public spaces and disrupt government operations.

Several messages linked to the group contained more aggressive rhetoric.

“The government will not surrender power voluntarily,” one statement said. “The population must be prepared to confront those who continue defending the regime.”

Another message described senior government officials and security commanders as “enemies of the people” and warned that they would face consequences if they refused to step aside.

The group also urged military and police personnel to ignore orders from senior commanders and support what it described as a national uprising.

“Soldiers and officers must decide whether they serve the people or a corrupt regime,” the statement said.

Authorities said some of the organization’s messages had crossed the line from political criticism into explicit incitement.

The Ministry of Internal Security accused the movement of encouraging political violence, intimidation and deliberate disruption of essential services.

In response, the Free Ardentia Movement accused the government of using security laws to silence opposition voices.

The organization later published another declaration calling for supporters to establish local resistance committees and coordinate nationwide action against the government.

“The old political system must be dismantled completely,” the statement said. “There can be no compromise with those who continue to defend it.”

Some accounts associated with the movement also circulated messages arguing that confrontation with government forces was unavoidable and that political violence could be justified if authorities attempted to suppress demonstrations.

Independent civil society groups criticized both the government and the radical movement.

The Ardentian Human Rights Forum said citizens should be allowed to criticize the government and participate in peaceful demonstrations, but warned that threats, political violence and attacks on public institutions could lead to serious escalation.

Government officials said additional security personnel had been deployed around parliament, ministries and major transportation hubs.

The Free Ardentia Movement said demonstrations would continue and repeated its demand for the immediate resignation of the government and the creation of a transitional political authority.
